A UN MISSION HIGHLIGHTS THE IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE ON PLANKTONS' BIODIVERSITY
Tara Oceans Expedition's objective was to study plankton in the oceans in order to predict how global warming would change the behaviour of those organisms.
Amongs the results: ocean acidity had increased by 30 per cent since the Industrial Revolution, and sea-level rise is already affecting small island developing States (SIDS).
