About the Workshop

Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), Venice International University (VIU) and University College London (UCL), on behalf of the BIOECON Network, are pleased to announce the Fourth BioEcon Workshop on the Economics of Biodiversity Conservation - Economic Analysis of Policies for Biodiversity Conservation.

The workshop will be held at Venice International University on the Island of San Servolo, Venice on 28-29 August 2003. The participation of both researchers and policy makers interested in or working within the field of biodiversity conservation is welcome.

BIOdiversity and Economics for CONservation (BIOECON) is a European Union (EU) funded project designed to advance economic theory and policy for biodiversity conservation. BIOECON assembles economists, lawyers and scientists from leading European academic and research institutions as well as members of prominent policy organisations to work together on designing and implementing cutting edge economic incentives for biodiversity conservation.
