Accommodation in the VIU Campus
Participants who would like to reserve single or double rooms in the VIU Campus are kindly requested to forward their accommodation requests to the Workshop Secretariat no later than the 25th of July.
Rooms will be allocated on a first come, first served basis: early reservations are therefore recommended.The VIU campus is located in the Island of San Servolo, in the Venetian lagoon, between Venice city centre and the Island of Lido. The total surface of the Island of San Servolo is 48,260 sq. m. One fifth of the area is covered by buildings surrounded by an extensive park.
It is an oasis in a unique urban setting. People can study, work, and relax in a peaceful park spread across 12 scenic acres with a panoramic view of Venice. In addition to this, people will have an extraordinary opportunity to meet and relax under conditions that are different from normal day-to-day environment.In order to ask for accommodation in VIU, please fill out the downloadable form for accommodation in the VIU campus adhering to the instructions on the form.
Please note that VIU's guests are kindly requested to check-out before 8.30 a.m.

Penalties on cancellations will be applied according to the date of the notice of cancellation sent to the Workshop Secretariat:
- before the 25th of Julyno penalties will be applied;
- after the 25th of July and 10 days prior to your arrivalVIU will charge you for the first night;
- less than 10 days prior to your arrival or no-showVIU will charge you for the full stay.
